TOWN OF CLIFTON BUILDING DEPARTMENT

The Clifton Building Department issues construction permits and enforces codes and ordinances in the interest of ensuring safe and attractive neighborhoods as well as a healthy environment.​

The Code Enforcement Department is committed to protecting the public health and comfort and to promote and maintain a safe, clean and enjoyable Town. Violations include, but are not limited to, junk vehicles, accumulation of trash, rubbish, debris, weeds, outdoor storage, dilapidated structures and anything else that may affect the quality of life within the boundaries of the Town. The Code Enforcement Official performs field inspections throughout town limits to identify code violations. Enforcement may include violation letters, Notice and Orders, citations and placement of liens upon properties.
